Our History

We humbly began in 1983 when Attorney Findlay opened the Law Offices of James F. Findlay headquartered at 1557 Gordon Highway, Augusta GA 30906. The law firm practiced divorce law, property law, and estate planning. In 2001, J. Derek Edenfield joined the firm as an associate attorney broadening the firms spectrum into business and tax law. In 2006, Attorney Edenfield became partner and Findlay & Edenfield, LLC was formed creating the conduit for the law office and reputation you see today. Mark Green joined the firm in 2015, as an associate attorney and has been a driving force in the property law division of the firm. In 2019, Attorney Green became partner; officially forming Findlay, Edenfield & Green LLC Attorneys at Law.

Our support staff has over 40 years of property law and estate planning experience. In addition to those skills, they are also well versed in the areas of divorce, corporate law, and family law. They are committed to the continuous education they obtain which keeps them current with the constant changes of any new laws in the States of Georgia and South Carolina. But most importantly, they are vital sources of information as well as excellent liaisons between attorney and client.
